Welcome to Lorien, our garden filled of dreams and visions. We are AppleRush and Presence, two girls whom are avid players of Ragnarok Online where together we seek to create a fun playful atmosphere of community while telling compelling stories and exciting quests within our world of Rune Midgard.

Our game uses the basics of the incredibly popular Ragnarok Online MMORPG and then extends the gameplay with custom items, fresh new quests prepared by professional writers, and a strong community of other players who all enjoy making parties to explore new lands. If you're familiar to the official Ragnarok Online game, players gain experience 30 times faster than official rates, and drops occur 20 times more often. (30x/30x/20x)

LorienRO is available for play completely free of charge and does not accept donations. We love the game and enjoy seeing the community thrive. We have dedicated ourselves to the long-term development and support of LorienRO.

The game operates on a Unix server running the amazing "eAthena" RO emulator software powered by a fast and reliable SQL database backend. The RO client that is installed onto your computer has been tested across many Windows platforms and we support our client in Unix environments using the "Wine" emulator package. Almost any computer can play Ragnarok Online, from antiquated laptops and PCs with standard video, to today's latest quad-core screaming Vista gaming rigs.

Of course, AppleRush and Presence don't do all this alone. We thank profusely our crew of developers, writers, and testers.
